Course Overview

This course provides hands-on training in residential framing techniques used in new construction and renovation projects. Students will learn how to read basic blueprints, interpret measurements, and perform accurate layout for walls and structures. Instruction includes framing floors and walls, installing studs, headers, and rough openings for doors and windows.

Students will work on practical framing builds, constructing wall sections and structural components while learning proper tool usage, fastening methods, and safe work practices.
