Drywall, Mudding & Sanding
Course Overview
This course provides hands-on training in drywall installation and finishing techniques used in residential construction and renovations. Students will learn how to measure, cut, and install drywall sheets on framed walls and ceilings, including around door and window openings. Instruction covers proper taping, mudding, and sanding techniques to achieve smooth, professional-quality finishes.
Students will work on a practical build, completing a fully framed one-room structure. The course also includes insulation installation, vapour barrier application, material estimation, tool handling, and safe work practices.
